The what grill???

I love infomercials. It's ridiculous how much I love them. I think I have mentioned this fact before. Well - I have found a product I am willing to buy - The Q Grill. It seems like the BEST idea! It folds up so you can carry it. But it also pulls out into a flame grill! You can buy teeny tiny 1 lb propane tanks for it. Maybe because it is Memorial Day. Maybe because I can bring it back upstairs after I use it out in the garden. Maybe because it is just so pretty. But I MUST own it. Oh yes, it will be mine.

The Dancing Man

I went to Harvard Square so I could visit Woolcott and Company. I wanted to get some Cascade 220 to make my Bucket O'Chic hat. There are SO many colors from which to choose! There are a few guys that do a show on the square every so often. It's great. They rap, breakdance, step, and sing. Everyone loves them - including The Dancing Man. This guy was hysterical! I had to take a picture of him strutting his stuff. He might have gotten more attention than the guys in the show!

Rudy!!

It's a gorgeous day outdside. I'm going over to Harvard Square to meet my friend for some window shopping. And I am sad because Rudy is on and I am going to miss it! I LOVE the movie Rudy. I love the story, the music, and the big goofy tutor. If you haven't seen it, go rent it tonight!

The Bachelor Anyone?

Well - I missed the beginning of the Bachelor Revisited (or whatever it was called) but got to see the end of it. Did anyone see this RIDICULOUS show? People storming off. Rumors addressed. Tension. Tension. Tension. I have enough drama in my life. Why do I need more? And yet....I LOVE it! It's a sickness. I blame this all on my cousin Jeanne. I was ready to give it up but she pulled me back in! Are you reading this, Jeanne??? We HAVE to give it up!!

Knit Happens

I wish I lived near this shop. No, I wish I owned Knit Happens - Nirvana for Knitters. I would get to use my math because of the bookkeeping and inventory. I'd satisfy my need to teach because I would hold classes. I would satisfy my need to knit...obviously. AND I would be surrounded by the cutest shop ever and tons of beautiful yarn!! The site has general info but it also has a blog that shows the creations its customers are busy knitting. And the owners seem so nice - their window is so pretty!

Beer Pong

My friend Joanna had a party last night. Apparently she cast some sort of "revert to your college days" spell on everyone. Of course, it could have been the fact that she and her roommates bought:
1. 2 kegs
2. A large board
3. Tons of ping pong balls
4. Several decks of cards
I had a blast! Joanna carried me as we won three rounds of Long Island style Beer Pong. I used to carry my teammate but it's been a loooong time since college. I recommend this for any party you give. It was a great conversation starter. People have a great time teasing each other. And the game puts everyone in a great mood because it brings back warm fuzzy memories of parties past. What more could a hostess want?

Apparently, this is my Bloginality. I remember I took a Meyers Briggs test a million years ago and got the same results. You can go here and take a little test to see who you are. I scored pretty evenly between ISTJ and ESTJ. Hmm, I wonder what that means?

Purse Log

I was peeking around at journals and found one that suits me! I can keep track of all the purses and bags that I want, have, need, and make! At rock scissor paper, they have the cutest things!!

I'm cabling it up, Baby!

I don't know why I avoided them so for long! Cables are fun, pretty, and easy to make. Try them - you'll love it! Just remember that you slip a few stitches onto the cable needle, keep knitting like normal, then go back and knit those stitches a little later on. Voila! Cables galore!
