About Me

I'm a middle school math teacher living in Boston, MA.

I grew up in Rochester , NY. I attended Ithaca College where I got my B.S. in Mathematics. I taught seventh grade for 1 year in Ithaca. Teaching for four years at a private school in Simsbury, CT and at a public school in Vernon, CT, filled my days when I lived in Hartford, CT. I also worked at a waitress, bartender, and tutor when I lived in Hartford. While I was there I got my MS in Secondary Ed at CCSU. I now live in Boston, MA teaching middle school in Dorchester. I LOVE Boston. I have also worked at The Pottery Barn, Harvard University, and as a tutor. I am a new card carrying member of Stitch-n-Bitch , South End of Boston branch!

Throughout all of the jobs and moving around, there a few things that are the constants in my life: friends, family, rubber stamping, music, crafting, jewelry making, and love of teaching. Recently, I picked up knitting. I love it!
